After years working in restaurant kitchens, I realized the biggest difference between disappointing food and memorable food is rarely the ingredients themselves. It’s the understanding behind them — flavor, texture, balance, contrast, and the small decisions that shape how food feels to eat.

Hi, I'm Chef Diana Moga
A trained, professional plant-based chef with 14 years of experience, and for the last years I’ve worked as Head Chef in vegan restaurant kitchens across Germany — developing menus, creating dishes and teaching teams.
Head Chef and Recipe developer
Home cooks and chefs
For international vegan restaurants
Thirteen years ago, I left my career in health psychology to pursue my true passion: plant-based cooking.
Since 2012, I’ve collaborated with an array of culinary businesses across Europe and the US. From award-winning fine dining restaurants and pastry shops to food delivery services, chains, and start-ups, I’ve created plant-based menus, trained culinary teams, and consulted on innovative food concepts.
At the same time, I’ve been devoted to empowering home cooks to bring more plants into their kitchens with approachable, flavor-driven recipes rooted in both nutrition and pleasure. I did this through hands-on workshops, online classes and daily inspiration on social media. No matter the medium, my work is grounded in making vegan cooking feel accessible, empowering, and deeply satisfying — even on busy weekdays.
In 2025, I lauched my business in Germany to offer dedicated support for both home cooks and culinary professionals. Here you’ll find a range of resources to make plant-based cooking easier and inspiring. I offer meal plan subscriptions for home cooks and Private chef services for events.
Whether you’re looking to simplify your weeknight dinner or craft the next standout vegan menu for your event or restaurant, I’d love to help.

My approach to food
I don’t believe plant-based cooking should feel restrictive, complicated, or like a compromise. I think it should feel deeply satisfying. Comforting. Creative. Nourishing. Full of texture, flavor, curiosity, and pleasure.
But I also think a lot of people have been taught plant-based cooking in a way that leaves them disappointed. Too often, online food content focuses only on:
- protein,
- aesthetics,
- speed,
- or rigid health rules, while ignoring the things that actually make food memorable and satisfying.
That’s where my work comes in.
I help home cooks understand the chef techniques, flavor systems, and culinary thinking that transform simple ingredients into meals that feel exciting, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable to eat.
Not restaurant food that only works in professional kitchens. Real-life cooking that still feels thoughtful and elevated.
How I got here
Ironically, I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a chef.
My curiosity around cooking really started when I transitioned to a plant-based diet 14 years ago. Suddenly, I was exposed to ingredients, techniques, and combinations I had never experienced before. Living in Romania at the time, many vegan products weren’t easily available, so I started learning how to make things from scratch myself — plant milks, desserts, sauces, breads, fermented foods.
That curiosity slowly turned into obsession.
Over the years, I moved from home cooking into professional kitchens, eventually working as a vegan chef in restaurants in Germany, where I learned how chefs build flavor, structure dishes, work with texture, troubleshoot problems, and create food that people remember.
At the same time, I also realized something important:
A lot of professional cooking knowledge never reaches home cooks in an accessible way.
So much cooking education online either feels:
- overly simplified,
- disconnected from real life,
- or focused purely on trends.
I wanted to create something different. Something that combines:
- professional chef knowledge,
- practical everyday cooking,
- sensory satisfaction,
- and a more thoughtful relationship with food.

What I do now
Today, I share practical chef knowledge through:
- hands-on cooking workshops,
- educational content,
- private dining experiences,
- recipe and menu development,
- and culinary education focused on flavor, texture, and satisfying plant-based cooking.
Whether I’m teaching someone how to build flavor in a tomato sauce, troubleshoot brioche dough, make vegetables feel more exciting, or understand why a dish feels flat, my goal is always the same:
To help people cook with more confidence, intention, creativity, and understanding.
Because once you understand how cooking works, you stop relying only on recipes. You start trusting yourself.
And that changes everything.
Outside the kitchen
Outside of cooking, I love gardening, thoughtful conversations, desserts, traveling, dogs, and discovering new flavors and food cultures.
I’m endlessly fascinated by the connection between food, emotion, memory, and everyday life — and I think cooking can be one of the most grounding and creative forms of care we have.
I’m glad you’re here.
